The purpose of this organization is to render service whenever and wherever possible and to meet the need for genuinely constructive recreation. 4-A CHORUS The Girls' Chorus, under the direction of Miss Elizabeth Niederwerfer has done a splendid job this year, assisting in many activities and entertaining many prominent organizations. A. after-school sports started with a spirited baseball season this year. After a few weeks of practice came the inter- class playoffs. which ended up with the Seniors as victors. Later the Seniors chal- lenger the women faculty to an exciting game. again finding the Senior girls un- defeated. Net sports were next in line for a short period of time. These were continued later in the spring. An ideal spirit of sportsmanship was shown by the girls in their many events. HOME ECONOMICS CLUB The Future Homemakers of America is a nation-wide or- ganization. The B. U. H. S. chapter is comprised of 36 girls, most of whom are maior- ing in Home Economics, and the club is well advised by Mrs. Audine McLaren. The aim of the club is shown in its motto: Toward New Hori- zons. The F. H. A. has sponsored several dinners and dances. all of which have been very successful. K - 1 Q...
