Tigers Tr Harder to Top 2nd Place Finish With strong pitching, a tough offense, and a tight de- fense, Timon was runner-up for the Georgetown Cup last year. Most members of last year's team are returning, so the hope is great for first place this year. Pitching isn't as deep as last year. Tom Quinn and joe Mancini comprise the staffs core. The infield consists of Mike Martin. lack Hoffstetter, Gary Domzalski, Dan Renkas and All-Catholic Pat Chella. Two outfield posi- tions are tip for gralis. Ioe Otto leads the contenders. Eight, with Mark Patterson, Neil Crawford. Rich Scanlon, Karl Wendley. Iim Porreca, Dave Balesti- eri. john Woara, Ierry Nosky and Bill Loncrgan. placed third in the Canadian Schoolhoys' Regatta and second in tho All-I ligh Regatta. Crew is still a growing sport at Timon.
