Bowling Team Rolls To Second Place Finish Following the leadoff All-Catholic Ken Iagodinski, the Timon Keglers struck out for first place. However, their feverish endeavors were foiled as the Turner Terriers managed to swing 6 games away from the Tigers. Against Bishop Ryan, a tough duel was faced by the Tigers. Through the superior howling of Cap- tains Ron Wojtkowski and Greg Pryce. the boys with- stood the intense pressure. Timon Mermen Wrap Up Best Season With a big splash and some powerful strokes. this year's swimming team proceeded into one of its most fruitful sea- sons ever. Captained by seniors Bob Novak and Tim Manley this year's team finished the season in 3rd place with a 4-4 record. A spectacular season was staged as 4 school records were broken. The largest margin of breakage being the 400 free relay team of Cambell. Munson, B. Beardsly, and K. Beecroft which eclipsed the record by six seconds. Other records broken were the 200 medleyrelay I1:57.9 to 155.8l. and total points H461 for diving. Next year's captains Vince Reilly and Dennis O'Neill will have a strong team returning to aid them. Iunior Dave Resetarits, best sprinter on the team and Marty Munson an all around Soph standout, show excit- ing promise. This year's team was better than any of the re- cent past. Standing, T. Tennis Team Starts Rebuilding Process Rebuilding is the key word for this year's tennis team. Recovering from ai mediocre 3-5 record and overcoming the loss of two All- Catholic players is on extremely tough task.
