Coach Kull oted Rookie of the Year Under Rookie Coach Mike Kull, this year's I.V. Basket- ball team completed a successful season by beating Cardinal Dougherty by 3 points to finish in 3rd place. Captains Pete Renkas and Dave Boquard were just two of the exciting ball- players on the 1970-7't squad. Showing great promise for the future is freshman guard Richy Williams. llis ballhandling. shooting eye, and his basketball sense has Timon coaches hoping. A bright fu- ture appears not far in the offing as two good rebounders should move up from l.V. Mike Smith the team's leading re- bounder is ready to compete for a varsity position. Another good rebounder is found in Rich Kobis.6-'1 sophomore. With all these valuable assets, things look tough for other Burke league teams. .ll Bottom, Gary Domzolski drives for o bucket.
