The Language Department teaches that the world of language is large and expansive. The department offers both modern and classical lan- guages. A student not only learns the language, but he also learns the customs and beliefs of the country whore it is spoken. This knowledge is conveyed by films that talk about the country itself. hath Dept. Makes Progressive Changes The Math Department was no exception to all the progressive changes which took place in Timon this year. Fr. Louis as head has accepted the school plan of re-evaluation of each department and has changed with it. With these new changes has come new teachers and the Shiflilig of old teachers. Mr. I. Galeza from Canisius College, and Mr. Al O'Toole from Burgard Vo- cational have joined the math staff. Its main objective is to prepare the student for math on a college level and to give a general idea of the prac- tical use of math in modern society.
