ictorious Road To Cup! This year's Manhattan Cup Championship Team was an outstanding organization which used a halanced combination of basic defense and offense. Because of its youth it was picked in preseason to finish in sixth place. Spurretl on hy the raging spirit of hundreds of fans. the Tigers fought their way to first place. The fans contributed a great deal to the 61-60 conquering of Neumann in which Tim Leary's last sec- ond shot was the physical clincher. The loyal fans re- fused to leave until the final buzzer and were delighted at the results. Through the unwavering support of loyal Timon fans and the inspiration they gave. Intramurals Commence Intramurals. offered in three sports this year. were a huge success at Bishop Timon. Bowling. basketball, and touch football drew large percen- tage of the student body participation. An added attraction to the bowling setup was the inclusion of facility teams. This was organized by Fr. Iohn's O'Connor: the keglers made weekly trips to the Southside Alleys.
