Fathers Club Sponsors Benefits and ctivities 6 There has to he some kind of club where our fathers can have fun and sponsor functions for the school's benefit. Well, this is the Fathers Cluh. This cluh has done much throughout the years. They have sponsored the Father and Sons' Communion Breakfast, the trip to Europe raffle, the Buffalo Bills vs the Timon faculty basketball game, bingo, and they collect money at all the home games. These functions helped the students at Timon. Well, pop has to have fun. So, they sponsored an Irish Night on March 6 and with the Mothers' Club. they sponsored the Moms' and Pops' Dance. The Fathers' Club led hy its moderator Fr. Kevin Flynn and president Mr. Iohn McDonnell have truly been a success this year both for the students and themselves. Above left, Fr. . I Mothers Have Msgr. Chambers as Speaker A capable group of newly elected officers led this year's Mothers Club to a productive sequence of happenings. Pres. Mrs. Robert H. Webster along with her staff of Vice-Pres. Mrs. Paul I. Crowley, Secre- tary Mrs. Iohn P. Fucio. and Treasurer Mrs. joseph E. Calabrese organized frequent gatherings. A large attendance at the occurrences was not unusual. Mass and a dinner following was a common event to which many mothers were attracted. Teas and socials were welcome relief after a difficult day.
