This year Timon has continued to move with the changes of modern society through the Future Teachers of America Club. With Mr. Paul Martello relieving Mr. Chambers of the moderatorship, the organization aims at preparing those students who feel that they may choose a teaching career. The F.T.A. gives its members an opportunity to pre- pare a class and then teach that class at the Annex. Iuvenalist Contributes To Cultural Enrichment Short stories, poems, articles, and photographs are the elements that make up this years literary magazine, the Iuvenalist. What makes the Iuvenalist so fan- tastic is that any student in Bishop Timon can submit a literary creation and he guaranteed that it will be published. Much work goes into making the Inve- nalist the great publication it is. This work is accomplished by Phil Dissek, Editor-in-Chief and his staff and is guided by Mr. Wright, the moderator. lllti Science Club Visits Robert Moses Power Vista To let the students observe firsthand the ap- plications of science in our society, the Science Club enjoyed a full schedule of activities. To kick off the year, a trip to the Robert Moses Power Vista on October 21 gave the club mem- bers a basic idea of the amount of work neces- sary to efficiently operate a large society. Other trips and tours included the Bethlehem Steel Corporation, Bell Aerosystems. and the lroquois Brewery.
