B The much anticipated Ring Dance is thornughfv vnjnyvrl hy scfniors and llwil' u'an'x in our gaib' decorated audimrium. THROUGH PRAYER . . Our Junior year was even more eventful. We now found ourselves as distinguished 'upper classmen' and although the boom was lowered scholastically, we still found plenty of time to enjoy ourselves. Our stars shown brightly on the athletic held as our football, basketball and baseball teams were led to tremendous heights by the 'Big Three' of Timon-Cipriani, Guest and Gegenfurtner. Our social year at Timon was highlighted by the overwhelming suc- cessful Junior Prom. Now finally, after three eventful years, we were Seniors. We re-elected Vince Shipe as our president and Marty Oates as Veep and we went forward into this all important year. For the last time in our High School career we were receiving that Catholic training which would enable us to meet the open world with that invulnerable Franciscan Spirit. In November we received our rings at an impressive and solemn ceremony and enjoyed ourselves at the dance that followed. The 1960 seniors led the way in all school activities. As organization and club presidents, team cap- tains and publication editors seniors were always found at the helm. Our athletes enjoyed the overwhelming sup- port ofthe students and at mid-year we met with the realization that this was the last time we would see many famous Timon Tigers performing-Tom Russell. All- Catholic in Cross Country, Murray Regan and George Szymanski. All-Catholic Football stars: Johnny Mann, basketball captain, and Vince Shipe, All-Star defenseman ofthe Hockey team. Then the finest hour of all-our senior prom and graduation. they will long remain as cherished moments in our life. Fr.
