Carrying on in the same style Timon's harriers went on to be the victors in the annual All-Catholic Meet. Again they were pitted against not one but two teams that could supposedly defeat them and again men like McMahon and Diggins gave that big kick in the home stretch to pull ahead and changed the whole complexion of the meet. But even then they were not satisfied. The Annual High School Meet at Lemoyne University has become the jewel of Western New York Cross Country competition. In the two previous years Timon had finished third and second respectively. there was only one thing to do and that was to be number one, and that they were. In com- petition with eleven high schools from the State of New York they proved once and for all that they were the Aflike Dzggins shows the szrain Best . Tom Russell came in an unexpected first and ofthe gruelling type of race John McMahon followed him in the third spot with 1hntCrossCountryis. other men like Blest.
