The History and Civics Club had another substantial increase in membership this year, illustrating that it is one of the finest and most successful clubs in the school. Working on the principle of learning through experience, the club features discussions on all phases of History and Civics. The founders of this nation realized that a democ- racy rests on a program of citizenship education for the masses. This principle is the primary aim of the club. This year the Club was under the direction of their moder- ator, Fr. Louis. President Tom Burke and Vice President Jerry Hauser led the way in most of the clubs activities. HISTORY-CIVICS Mike Maciejewski tries to persuade members of ofher U. N. Delegalion Io his way of fhinking.
