Senior class gets ready for assembly. We will never forget the many activities that were an integral part of our stay at Timon. Third Order, dramatics, athletics, de- tention and all the others were memories that will not easily be forgotten. After January exams college applications began to appear and became topics of our conversations. For many their Timon educa- tion would be the basis upon which they would build their college degrees. For others the termination of four years of Catholic educa- tion at '1'imon would be the threshold of a new life. The much anticipated senior prom passed with all its glory and greatness. And very suddenly graduation was here. WVe found our- selves looking out on to what was to be our lives. W'e had developed under the careful guidance of the Franciscan Friars into Christian gentlemen. Each experience had been another step in our climb toward our goal of mature adult Catholics. We have left a part of us at Timon but the things that Timon has given to us we will never be able to measure. They come in trickles and leave in drove.,

As we entered our last year, we suddenly realized that we were Seniors. Wle became aware of what it meant to be Catholic men. At the beginning of October we attended our Ring Danceg this was the earliest that Timon seniors had ever received their rings. We were reminded by Fr. Patrick, that the Timon ring on our linger was there to remind us that we were Catholic gentlemen not only throughout this year but for our entire lives. The presence of a Miraculous medal under the stone was a lirst for the class of '59. We lived every day knowing that graduation was one day closer. We knew that many of our by now familiar activities were taking place for the last time. Bob Leary again took the helm as our President with Dan Santi as Vice President. Through their efforts the closed Senior dances became a regular event. This year the Seniors dominated the ath- letic teams, and as mid-year rolled around we realized that for many of us this would be the last time we would scc thc Tigers in action.
