The season opener proved to be a stalemate as host Canisius ,IV and Timon played to a 13-13 tie. The contest played at Dela- ware Park was a rugged one with Mike Kinney passing for two touchdowns and having one called back because of a clipping penalty. C The Aquinas games were practically identical except that they were played a month apart. Timon's offense could never seem to get moving while Aquinas countered heavily with an aerial attacli.
