SUPHUMUHES Our Sophomore year found us less confused about high school life and more confident in ourselves. We met new friends and began feel- ing more like part of the school. Many of us found interest in various extra-curricular ac- tivities and the Junior Varsity sports. Few of us participated in varsity sports, but we were there to cheer the team on to victory. The barriers of shyness gradually dissolved. Why we even began attending Friday night dances! Our labors in study were rewarded by a good percentage of the class receiving honors. We acquired new and improved old methods of study which have since proven invaluable. At times when we became a little too spirited the professors calmed us down by means of a jug slip. We were growing in wisdom and grace under the watchful eyes of the Friars. Before We knew it Our Sophomore year Was almost Two underclassmen enjoy a quiet corner of the Over- library.
