Timon's outdoor track team takes a breather during a practice at Houghton Park long enough to pose for TALISMAN pictures TH Eli The Timon Outdoor Track squad buried no less than five opponents to capture the first championship offered by the newly formed circuit. The Tigers gained three of the wins by identical scores of 57-25. The season opener saw the South-siders topple St. Mary's by 57-25 and then follow up this feat with a carbon copy victory over Mindszenty. These first two meets saw Timon take seven of the ten events. The season mark was stretched to 3-0 as they carved out a 49-33 conquest over arch-rival Canisius. Two records fell while Timon nosed out a 44-39 win over Fallon. The unbeaten year was then concluded with a 57-25 win over Duffy.
