Frank Cipriani goes high off the floor for a jump shot in an exciting fight against Aquinas. Timon avenged an earlier reverse by dumping the Rochester squad 70-49. battle while Dick Dunbar and George Gegen- furtner piled up twelve apiece against the Roch- ester School. The big win of the season came in the St. Joe game. Timonls 65-60 win on the Saints floor pre- sented a fitting climax to a long drive for first place. Other teams which fell victim to the Tigers were Ryan, Baker-Victory, Fallon and St. Mary's For the Deaf. These teams all contributed two games in the Tiger win column. Bill Mc- Donald led the league's scorers while he and team mate Frank Cipriani were named to All- Catholic squad. McDonald received coach Mel Palano's Most Improved Playern award while Dan Neeson was named as the Most Valuable Player.
