Mike Fitzpatrick was the offensive leader, scoring three touchdowns. Saint Joseph's Collegiate Institute dealt the crucial blow to Timon's bid for the league title by handing the Tigers 26-13 setback at Civic Stadium. The gridders faced a 14-0 deficit at the intermission and from that point the cause seemed lost. Fallon's Flyers were the fifth victim of the Tigers. The contest was played out at Lacka- wanna Stadium with the final score winding up Timon 195 Fallon 0. The final game of the season saw the Tigers lose their chance for second place due to Desales 13-12 victory over the Timonites. Timorfs starting lineup tunes up for the vital St. Joe's battle at Civic Stadium. The Saints wnquerecl Timon by a 26-13 margin. the season by virtue of a convincing 25-0 triumph over Baker-Victory at Lackawanna Stadium. Neil O'Rourke and Jim Gainey were the scorers in the first half with Fitzpatrick and Gainey tallying in the second stanza. The gridders made short work of the Ryan Rams as they trounced the hapless, flu-ridden team from Main Street by a 33-7 margin. The Timon vs Canisius game will be one long remembered by Timonites as the gridders blasted the Crusaders by a 44-7 score at Civic Stadium. Timon compiled seven touchdowns, Take it easy, it hurts, cries Frank Marchese as teammates Lesswing and Sewiec carry him off after an injury. Tenseness spreads across the Tiger bench as un- favorable action takes place on the Aquinas field. Mike Fitzpatrick makes ready to bring down St. Joe's Jackson as fellow Tigers look on.

J. V. Fnulhall Lenny Kalinowski carries the ball for the Frosh as teammates clear the way. The Baby Bengals, under the guidance of coach Jerry Schlee and his able assistants, Matt Colpoys and Bill Campbell, secured a nifty six win, one loss record, one of the best records in Timon's history. The strong Bengals surged to Wins over Burgard by the score of 12 to 0, Ryan by 6 to 0, Fallon by 18 to 0, Baker- Victory by 27 to 0, Canisius and Notre Dame. The lone loss came at the hands of St. Joe's by the score of 13 to 0. The team was Well rounded with Koerber, Jed O'Conner and Frank Cipriani switching off at quarterback.
