1 2 s The grand finale to Timon's smash musical hit Iliad About Manhattan finds the entire cast singing its heart out. UHAMATIES The Dramatics Club began in 1949 with a minstrel show. The first moderator of the club was Father Claude Kean. The duties of moder- ator were given to Father Kenneth Dorr in 1952. Since his appointment, Timon has staged musicals which have become a Timon trade- mark. These musicals are directed by Mr. Joseph Hayes of the New York stage. These shows have become well known for their artistic and professional appearance which is rarely found in high school musicals. Mr. 1' , . 1 1 1 . Hayes has directed Take Time Out, Ring Around the Rainbow, Time Swings Back, and On With the Showf' This year's produc- tion, Mad About Manhattan' with a cast of 250, was the largest and most successful to date. On March 22-23, of this year, the Catho- lic High School Drama Festival was held at Bishop Timon High School with eleven schools participating. During this affair, the Dramatics Club presented the Third Act of Anastasia. HISTIIHY AND EIVIES FHATEHNITY Under the inspiring leadership of Father Ken- neth, the History and Civics Fraternity has be- come one of the top ranking high school discus- sion groups in this area. Ably representing Timon at the Model U.N. Assembly the History Club has brought much honor and esteem to our school.
