CONSTITUTION OF THE STUDENT COUNCIL OF BISHOP TIMON HIGH SCHOOL June l7, 1954 We, the students of bishop Timon High School, in order to attain student participation in maintaining the welfare of the afore- mentioned institution, do hereby ordain and establish this Con- stitution: Section 12,1 The Political Committee when called to interpret this Constitution shall have the power to declare decisions on the matter of dispute un- constitutional. Article lO.l when after serious thought and discussion, it is deemed necessary to amend this Constitution, a motion for this purpose may originate in either house. The motion for amendment must then be passed by a two-thirds majority in both houses. All motions for amendment made and passed in one house must then be introduced and voted on in the opposite house. Ratification of an amendment belongs solely to the Office of the Principal.
