Although unpublicized the Ryanlight Yearbook staff of 1957 endeavored to make their yearbook as authentic and complete as possible to retain the dear- est memories they held throughout high school. The untiring work of the actual staff and the cooperation of the remaining seniors will yield a yearbook which, we hope, will take its place among the previous award winning books. As we proceed on our highway of life, Ryan will remain only a memory captured in the Ryan- light of 1957, the product of sincere effort and co- operation. Here we experience great scien- tihc, historical, educational and sporting events in all parts of the universe and in all times. A comfortable chair, pleasant surroundings and a book from the shelves of Bishop Ryan Library are an unbeatable combination. ln the peace and quiet of the well-appointed room we cultivated the resources of our library at Ryan. The library helped guide our steps in the quest for knowledge and adventure, and it gave us infor- mation and pleasures to long remember. Father Paul K.. MOTHERS' Moderator of the Mothers' Club, Fr. Robert, discusses plans for the card party with the newly elected ohlicers for the year 1957. XY'e cannot forget the mothers of the students who belong to the Mothers' Club. Here again we encounter another successful organization that has helped make Ryan what it is today. This club promotes various activities to aid the school. Among these are social gatherings, raffles, card parties and an annual bazaar, to name a few. The unceasing efforts of the mothers has produced a club of such wide range of entertainment that it encompasses the whole school. It is to these mothers that we momentarily stop and salute in our travels.
