just as journeying through a city or town with its criss crossing streets, avenues and boule- vards calls for alertness, so too, must the chess strategist veer in all directions to maintain his right of way mer his opponents. Mr. Malecki is at the wheel of this enthusiastic group, again striving for honor in the Annual Queen City Chess Tournament. The Bishop Ryan Photo Club, under the direction of Fr. Martin, has been a great success once again. The cooperation and activity of its members have been the main factors of its many accomplishments. By active participation, its members have not only increased their knowledge of photography, but their interest in a very useful hobby also has been aroused. A school photographer is chosen from the club, who is usually a Senior or one who is interested in making photography his future career. One of his main duties is to take pictures of various school ac- tivities during the year, which are of particular in- terest for the yearbook. XVondering whether this press camera is really complicated and insolyed, C. Schnitzer and R, Twarog look as if they will take it apart completely. C. Peszynski and E. Gorecki are holding the parts and making sure they'll go back in the right plate. Trips keep our albums alive For pictures long do survive. Ifirxl Roux' R. Turkiewiu, ll, Zgoda, j. Skora, S.
