lllustrating the Medieval Period, World History students build a castle. Willie Lohman's dreams take shape in a scene from the National Theater Company's presentation of Death of a Salesman. Mrs. Speer exhibits an heirloom of the Revolutionary War Period. Introduced this year in the English Department was a Literary Criticisrg elective for Seniors. The course offers the opportunity to explore great literature in depth. The Na- tional Theater Company presented Arthur NliIler's Death of a Sales- man. The History Department experi- mented with a new Social Psychology class, and a Humanities Course which delves into every aspect of the Age of Enlightenment.

Freshman Art offers a basic course in ,Art History and develops artistic ability through a variety of me- dia. Opportunities for a more extensive study is avail- able to talented Seniors. These students skillfully ex- press themselves through sculpture, painting and sketching. Their superior work is often exhibited throughout the school. Sophomores are required to take an introductory music course. Incorporating music history, theory and group singing, audio-visual aids animate musical genius from Bach to the Beatles.
