2 Typing poses no challenge to the nimble fingers of Candi Ryan. Although basically a college prepari- tory school, Reilly also offers a two-year comprehensive course in business. Ju- niors and Seniors may complete studies in typing, shorthand, transcription and secretarial practice. Various electives are offered to Seniors - among them Shorthand and Typing. The Home Economics Department offers to interested students the oppor- tunity to learn the practical arts of cooking, sewing and child care. Since the department serves only upperclass- men, it utilizes small classes to provide much individual attention. l Seniors enjoy typing as much as they profit from it Junior chefs Janice Cuccia and Carol Val struggle with the Betty Crocker Cookbook

Goalie Lorraine Hughes prevents an opponent from scoring. Peggy Miller practices life saving techniques on Resus-Annie. Unlike the formality of the classroom, physical educa- tion provides a stimulating outlet from the daily routine. A well-planned gym program offers every student the op- portunity to master the funda- mentals of numerous sports. The Health Program strives to educate students in the functions and diseases of the human body. But Mrs. Lombardo, do we learn how to take these things off next health class! Freshmen swing their partners and begin to Duck for the Oyster.
