. And The Band Plays Un .-...sw -S . Q -as sm . S E sit The band directed by Gerard Catala- nello continues to increase in size every year. This year some thirty five students from both the boys and girls side joined to help bring the sound of music to Bishop Reilly. The band played selec- tions from Simon and Garfunkle, Jim Webb, and Burt Bacharach at the an- nual Christmas Concert and the Spring Festival as well as assemblies, pep ral- lies, and school functions. The festival in spring brought a new dimension to Reilly entertainment as the band joined with the modern dance group of the girl's division in such numbers as King of the Road . Since many of the band members are seniors, IVlr. Catalanello is instructing a group of freshmen who will fill up the spaces in next year's band. T Tony Ambrogio tunes up. Tommy Zivkovich prepares for his world debut. Practice makes perfect.
