Right Middle: Richard Catalano, Neil Student Council Makes Advances 's , r - se tt 1 s -, - Ng gi..-,ss . fs-NN The purpose of the Student Council Ccomprised of 112 elected representatives of the studentsj is to coor- dinate all the activities of the students. The areas of its involvement include: pep rallies, dances, assemblies of all sorts, supervision of school elections, initiation of programs such as the visits by other religious and other student organizations, intramurals, and any other areas where students are involved. Although many programs it initiates are originally presented by the executive committee, any ideas or suggestions made by students to their elected class representatives are carefully looked into and attempted if possible. lts basic aim is to foster school spirit by involving the students within their school.
