Above: Neil Peoohey oliligohtly studies his Frehoh homework. The Foreign Language Department has grown tremendously over the years. Not only does 0' Dowd offer courses in Spanish but also German and French. In such a small world, being able to communicate in more than one language is defiantly an asset, not to mention all colleges and universities require at least two years of Foreign Language. Bishop O' Dowd offers more than just the two minimum years, but four years in each language including honors and A.P. Teachers such as: Maria Teresa Rodriguez, Rachel Pinnette, Pedro Cafasso, Ute von Doyen, Gerald Shovlin, and many others exhibit amazing skills in providing knowledge that will assist the students Foreign language skills through out their lives. Symphonic Band String Orchestra Drama Phe Arts, traditionally, are how one expresses themselves in creative, innovative and :liverse Ways. Students at Bishop O'Dowd are given the opportunity to express :hemselves in many artistic ways. The Performing Arts component of the Fine Arts Department has several courses in which students can perfect the art of performance. Phe Drama courses allow students to explore the art of drama through readings, ,mprovisational exercises and full productions.
