Aruba, Jamaica, ooh I'm gonna take ya. . . Bermuda, Bahamas, come on pretty mamma. . , Homecoming - the word evokes images of high school spirit and unity. All American football players, spirited cheerleaders, and the entire school turning out for a challenging game of football and a celebration dance. Not many schools live up to this image, but O'Dowd, with its unity and support made this year's Homecoming memorable. Numerous fans turned out to cheer the devastating Dragons on to victory over the exhausted Encinal Jets, 35- 14. That evening was the traditional Homecoming dance with the always classic luau theme.
