— Prom The theme of the 1970 Junior-Senior Prom, “All This is But a Dream,” expressed the dream-like atmosphere created on prom night. Held amidst the elegance of the Chateau Royale in Chicago, music for the evening was provided by Ronnie Rodgers and his band. A tribute to the class of 1970, presented by George Germick, and the crowning of the Prom King and Queen highlighted the memorable activities orga¬ nized by Prom Chairman Debbie Moldrawski and the mem¬ bers of the Junior Class. As couples danced to the post- Prom music furnished by “The Enchanters,” others climbed spiral staircases and enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings. As the busses began their long trip home, couples came to the reluctant realization that this dream had come to an end. Prom King and Queen, Ben Garner and Pat Santare, reign over the activities as Annette Mysliwiec and her escort dance to the music of “The Enchanters.” J

Graduation For five hundred eighty-one students of Bishop Noll In¬ stitute a four year educational “cycle” terminated on Gradu¬ ation Day 1970. On May 28, the Baccalaureate Mass was concelebrated by Bishop Grutka and faculty priests. Afterwards, one hundred twenty-one scholarships and awards from colleges through¬ out the country were conferred. On Sunday, May 31, commencement exercises were held in the fieldhouse. Prior to the distribution of diplomas by Bishop Grutka, Valedictorian Gail Schweitzer reminisced over her past four years at Noll and then remarked that there were yet “things to accomplish, doors to open.” Salutatorian James Rybarczyk said that his career at Noll was “the worst of times, the best of times” and that he and his fellow graduates will start new and different lives after graduation. Jerry Egan receives his awards with a smile; Tom Miller, Florian Mikolajczky, Kathleen Mihalik and Dave Mick march to their seats for commencement exercises; Sister Agnes Clare congratulates Salutatorian Jim Rybarczyk.
