BISHOP IVIOLL INSTITUTE HAMMOND INDIANA PROUDLY PRESENTS... UK! CtfJNTY We do things in fun, for fun. Some find it easier to sit back and wait for change, but will they recognize its arrival? All things that go up must. We grow from solitude into awareness. I am here among others, with others, waiting. Time affects all; it challenges our ideas and ages our creations. I tried. Maybe not hard enough, but I tried. But I am not yet ready, for I have things to accomplish, doors to open, questions to answer. EVENTS Spring Musical Co-operation and a sincere desire to excel were the reasons given for the sell-out crowds and the high degree of professionalism in BNI’s production of the broadway musical Funny Girl . The play is the life-story of Fanny Brice with her rise from a Second Hand Rose to “The Greatest Star. Gayle Sacco, culminating four years of experience in Noll plays, portrayed Fanny Brice, while George Gardina portrayed Nick Arnstein. Transforming Noll's Little Theatre into a Ziegfield showstage were veteran stage technicians Gerry Dominik and Ed Piekarczyk. The Ziegfield Follies were reproduced through the efforts of Mrs. Phyllis Peyrot (choreography) and Miss Sharlene Kendall (make-up and costumes). Under the direction of Mr. Charles Breckle the musical was lauded as an exceptional production. Terry Clifton and Sue Myskcr pose the question. “Who Taught Her Everything She Knows ; backstage of the New York Theatre. George Gardina confronts Gayle Sacco- 26 Gayle Sacco as the unforgettable Private Schwartz: Nora Ginther. Sue Myskcr. It was held in the magnificent Sheraton-Chicago Hotel. Here elegant ladies in evening gowns and gentlemen in tuxedos danced to the music of Carl Mottinger's orchestra and the Four Days and a Night , a rock group. The evening was highlighted by the Grand March, regally led by prom King and Queen, John Mravinac and Geri Golonka. Later in the evening, John Mravinac expressed the feelings of all seniors in stating his regrets of leaving Bishop Noll and also his anticipation of the future. Now, that splendid, enchanted evening. Prom 1969, truly La Bella Notte,” exists only in memories. Couples waltzed in the elegant ballroom as the King and Queen. John Mravinac and Geri Golonka. reigned over the 1969 Prom. Happy faces reveal the true feelings of the graduates toward commencement; Tom Rice and Dan Quinn await the start of graduation exercises; Valedictorian Kenneth Burg receives congratulations from Sister Alma Clare. vny 30 Graduation More than 500 graduates of the class of '69 were honored at a series of events which finalized their four years at BNI. The ceremonies included Senior Night, a Baccalaureate Mass and reception, and the traditional graduation exercises. The Baccalaureate Mass was concelebrated by Bishop Grutka and priests of Noll's faculty the Friday evening preceding graduation. Honored at the graduation ceremonies were Valedictorian Kenneth Burg and Salutatorian Albert Martin. Reverend )ames Fisko, Chaplain of Purdue Calumet Campus and Salutatorian of the Noll class of 1952, gave the Baccalaureate homily. He petitioned the new graduates to “care about now, for we give them not the future but the present, and they need to feel what is happening today, to solve today’s problems.” i Bishop Grutka is assisted by members of Noll's faculty during Baccalaureate Mass: graduates Sue Heins and Mary Hawkins solemnly listen to Baccalaureate services: Salutatorian Albert Martin addresses the graduates and their guests. 31 Employees of the World Wide Wicket Company relax during one of their numerous coffee breaks. Bob McCrcc makes a pass at his uncle's secretary, Sue Mysker; while Gayle Sacco looks after the office. Summer Theatre From the first coffee break to the last elevator load on Friday night, office life was turned inside out as BNI began its fourth year of Summer Theatre with the Pulitzer Prize winning musical How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. The cast, composed mainly of the familiar faces of Bishop Noll alumni, included Lee Purcell as J. B. Biggley. Dennice K o 1 o d z i e j as Rosemary. Gayle Sacco as Smitty, and Bob Mc-Cree as Bud Frump. A new-comer to Noll’s stage, Mike McCormick played the lead role of J. Pierrepont Finch. With rehearsal time down to a minimum. cast, crew, and band members, under the supervision of director Charles Breckle. choreographer Phyllis Peyrot, and musical director Michael Hennessey, worked hard to make this musical another success in the ever growing list of Noll's theatrical achievements. Sydney Bernard soothes Lee Purcell while he relaxes with his knitting; Mike McCormick may have other things on his mind besides dictating notes to his secretary. Dcnnice Kolodziej. 33 Orientation Orientation week heralded the beginning of another school year in the traditional manner. Students greeting old friends and comparing new class schedules created the usual mob scene in the foyer. The distribution of locker numbers in the homerooms and the trial of new combinations began the year-long battle with the lockers. Upperclassmen lurked in the halls, trying to sell last year's battered books at exorbitant prices. Students who didn’t purchase the used books made the grand tour of the cafeteria bookstore, leaving with loaded arms and empty wallets. The class of 73? They had special problems. They had to discover how to get from B-building to A-building. where the Art Studio was hidden, and what happened if they were scheduled for Spanish III. Somehow they managed to make it through their first day without getting lost— permanently. Bewildered freshmen waited impatiently, arms ladencd with books, and set up walls to protect themselves from the unknown. 35 I The prizewinning sophomore class float, overflowing with enthusiastic students, makes its way through Hammond during the Homecoming parade. Couples talked as Donna Ciannini and John Gogolak enjoyed the medieval decor at the Homecoming dance. Homecoming A parade through Hammond began the festivities of Homecoming 1969. The forty decorated cars and the imaginative floats, including the prizewinning sophomore class float, were the result of many hours of work. The next day. designated as Grub Day”, added a gay atmosphere to an ordinary school day, for the students dressed in a variety of grubby and colorful clothes. A spirited pep rally was held during the last period. The outburst of Noll spirit in this rally was one of the factors that spurred the Warriors to a smashing victory of 41-6 against Lew Wallace in the homecoming game. During half-time ceremonies, the Homecoming queen, Doris Elizondo was crowned by last year's queen Geri Golonka. Couples danced in regal splendor to the music of the Jet Set during Noll’s homecoming dance entitled For one bright shining moment . Bill Huber, Mr. Touchdown, is congratulated by queen Doris Elizondo; a lively group join in a circle dance. The band musically participates in the Homecoming parade. 37 The 1969 Homecoming Queen Doris Elizondo and Court Member Sherri Spojcwski. 39 Fall Drama Set in post-war Okinawa. The Teahouse of the August Moon” is a hilarious comedy depicting the United States' struggle to Americanize the small island. The U.S. Army, represented by Colonel Wainwright Purdy III (Bob Kaftanich) and Captain Fisby (Rich Melton) believed they held the upper hand, but Sakini (Jesse Ramos) and the villagers of Tobiki knew better. Directed by Mr. Charles Breckle with assistance from Miss Sharlene Kendall and the production manager Jerry Dominik, the cast and crew did a tremendous job in presenting an authentic Far Eastern culture and dialect. The addition of unusual props, including an Army jeep and the appearance of a live goat, succeeded in entertaining the audience every night. The colorful c o s tu m e s , effective lighting and beautiful teahouse setting added to the creation of an appropriate atmosphere. 40 “Lovely ladies - kind gentlemen. Please to introduce myself. Sakini (Jesse Ramos) by name.” Lotus Blossom (Bonnie Mysliwy) tries to persuade Captain Fisby (Rich Melton) to don his “kimono. Captain Fisby prepares to depart for Tobiki accompanied by several new friends. Colonel Purdy (Bob Kaftanich) and Sergeant Gregovich (Tom Adams) talk over progress reports: Captain McLean (Joe Kolina) questions Captain Fisby (Rich Melton) about cricket cages and getas. 41 mim Couples easily adjusted to Oriental surroundings with smiles of joy to complete a picture of all-American happiness. A moment alone and a smile exchanged complemented an evening of happiness and joy. Winter Formal This year, the 1970 Winter Formal took on an Oriental atmosphere with Cantonese Cotillion as its theme. General Chairman, Carol Broviak, along with Jean LaRue and Mary Kay Schmidt, co-chairmen of the Decorations Committee, worked to instill a feeling of Oriental Christmas in everyone who attended the dance. Through much concern and effort, the BNI Ballroom became a scene of Chinese grace and beauty. Couples attending the dance walked over a high Oriental bridge into the ballroom where they were surrounded by Chinese silk screen drawings, lanterns. and old Chinese proverbs. While some couples danced to the music of The Intellectuals. others sat on blue silk pillows in typical Oriental style. Winter Formal is one of the dances which is annually sponsored by the Bishop Noll Student Council. 43 Sock Hops As times change, so does the music. But whether the beat was fast or slow, the sound was the same— blaring. As students arrive, they join friends in the fieldhouse to express themselves through the latest steps. If a new band is playing, the first part of the evening is spent listening and forming opinions on their style. Later, students talk and laugh while the band takes a break. The evening is culminated by a mad search for a lost shoe or a misplaced purse. Sock hops are sponsored by various school organizations, including the Human Relations Club's La Soul Noche, and the Student Council Election Hop. The Marquette Distribution Dance, held late in the school year, is the traditional time students receive their long-awaited yearbooks. Sock hops provide oxcellont opportunities to make friends and memories. 45 Drama Festival To facilitate the teaching of drama to English students, Noll’s English Department has developed a unique system of lectures and plays. Under the direction of volunteer teachers, students gain first hand knowledge concerning a dramatic production. A supplementary lecture is prepared to provide the students with the basis for a greater understanding and appreciation of the drama. This year, underclassmen witnessed the actual preparation needed for a production through a series of cuttings from Arsenic and Old Lace. They were also presented the chance to contrast the modern drama of Twelve Angry Men with the ancient Japanese Noh theater exemplified by The Dwarf Trees. Upperclassmen viewed The Would-be Gentleman and The Sandbox. They also saw scenes from the historical plays Beckett, Richard II. and Mary of Scotland enacted by members of Noll’s faculty. A relunctant Granny (Barb Stahura) is scuffled to the sandbox by Mommy and Daddy (Lise Wuellner and Kevin Krull). The woeful life of a king is spelled out by Shakespeare's Hichord If. portrayed by Mr. Pat Shal. Mrs. Dorothy LaMere resurrects the regal disdain of Queen Elizabeth I. 46 Mark Kolod .iej renders his interpretation of the feebleminded cousin Teddy. A grieving King Henry II (Mr. Ron Mutzbaucr) is haunted by the memory of the slain Beckett (Mr. Gary Eisner). Mufti Jim Rybarczyk caps a playful farce by crowning Dave Tworkowski mamamouchi—a would-be gentleman. 47 Turnabout A touch of the country filled the BNI Ballroom as a county fair with pastel colored balloons and flowers, crepe-paper Maypoles and a carousel set the scene for this year’s Turnabout dance, “Scarborough Fair. Small tables were arranged around the inside of the cafeteria and foyer, forming a path lined with trees that gave the entry way a romantic atmosphere. “Oscar the Majesties furnished the music for the evening's festivities, which were highlighted by the crowning of Anne Daly as Sweetheart Queen of Turnabout 1970. Sponsored by Service Club members and Mrs. Mary Michielson, club sponsor, Turnabout again gave the girls an opportunity to ask their favorite guy out for an evening. Copy Editor Student Council The purpose of Bishop Noll’s Student Council is to act as a liaison between the students and the school administration. One of the major steps toward this intercommunication is the development of the student-faculty committees. Co-sponsors Miss Jean Goginski and Father Pat Connolly agree that the participation and co-operation of all is a necessary factor for efficient student government. With this in mind, the ’69-'70 council brought back and developed a Student Leadership Day. On this day Noll students and representatives of other area schools met to exchange ideas. Noll students have another chance to voice their opinions in the Student Council newspaper The School is Burning. The Student Council is also instrumental in providing for the students’ social life. Besides directly sponsoring Winter Formal and Homecoming, the council office acts as the clearing house for any activity planned in the school. The team set two new records enroute to posting a respectable season record of 11-6-2. A major cause of Noll's success focused on the attack balanced between field events and track contests. One bright moment for the Warriors arose from the performance of junior Steve Furman. Following victories in the sectional and regional, Steve, specializing in high hurdles, finished as runner-up in the state finals, junior pole-vaulter jerry Skurka also represented Noll in the regional, placing fifth. Coach Archer is relying on an experienced squad for great improvement, new records, and championship performances in the 1970 season. Steve Furman and Chuck Smoljan complete a perfect exchange: Matt Tonkovlch casts q hopeful glance at the destination of his shot. Danny Quinn exemplifies the effort exerted by Noll. Baseball Bishop Noll's 1969 baseball team made a valiant attempt to repeat as state champs. A powerful offense pounded opposing pitchers for an average of five runs per game. A stingy defense, centered around pitchers Sonnenberg, Knish. and Quinn, held the opposition to an average of less than four runs per game. Spurred by Co-captains Knish and Zabek, the Warriors dominated every Hammond team they met. Seeking state-wide attention. Noll travelled to Marion, Michigan City, and South Bend where they were met by victory on each occasion. Coach Bob B r a d t k e and his stickmen brought a 13-9 log into sectional play. After crushing Clark, the Warrior’s hopes of a second championship were washed out by an official's disputed ruling. With the experience of returning lettermen, Sonnenberg. Golf After a long dry spell, the excitement of winning golf returned to Bishop Noll with the arrival of first year coach Mike Merrill. Gifted with remarkable accuracy on the fairways and deadly aim on the greens, the Warrior linksmen sliced through their opposition en route to an impressive season record of 11-1. A squad consisting of seniors Andy Szurgot and Ed Schutz. juniors Terry Zgorka and Joe O’Connor, and sophomore John Morton emerged victorious in the sectional championship. The return of three year veteran Zgorka plus O'Connor and Morton provides the nucleus for the 1970 team. With such an entourage of returning lettermen, Noll is confident that the golf team will equal, if not surpass, last year’s outstanding performances. 89 Cross Country Attempting to rebound from a series of early season misfortunes, the BNI Cross Country team finished the year with a mediocre record of four wins and five defeats. The loss of senior Co-captain Jim Haney crippled the high hopes of the Warriors. However, with solid support from his spirited teammates, Co-captain Dave Tworkowski led the warriors to many surprise finishes in the area. Noll captured third place in the Hammond City Meet, seventh in the Andrean Invitational, eighth place in the Highland Invitational, and fourteenth in a strong field of twenty five at the Hobart Invitational. The Warrior harriers capped their season with a respectable fifth place finish in the sectional, and representation in the regional by Dave Tworkowski. Centered around sophomore standout Bruce Bittner, a small but solid return will be the core of Coach Archer's 1970 cross country team. Three S. B. Adams defenders discover the never-die determination of Mark Grafton. Football In 1969 Bishop Noll showed everyone, especially the opposition, how football should be played — with sheer brute force. After beating Washington for the first time in more than twenty years, the Warriors could not be stopped. Co-captain Bill Huber bulldozed his way through defense after defense. Upon acquiring a subtle finesse, quarterback Mike Sember found receivers Steve Furman, Co-captain Phil Trembczynski. and Eric Wilk with increasing accuracy. An impeccable defense led by Bill Payer held opponents to an average of less than six points a game. A huge defensive line, consisting of John Krol, Joe Alvarado, Tom Jazak, and Ted Zukoski, proved thoroughly adept at overpowering and bringing down anything near them. Having compiled an 8-2 record in each of his tenures at Noll, head coach Mike Merrill is confident that 1971 will be equally as prosperous. Coach Marquedant’s tankmen streaked past their opponents on twelve occasions, while suffering defeat only four times. The key to Noll's success centered upon its depth and versatility. Hampered by an injury to co-captain Don Fitzgerald, the Warriors mustered seven wins in a row in addition to outpointing a field of six competitors at the Laporte Relays. The Bishop Noll swimmers finished their season by capturing sixteenth place in the state finals on the strength of cocaptain Don Waechter's sixth place finish in the 100 meters butterfly and a fifth place finish by the 400 meters freestyle relay team consisting of Terry Austgen, Joe O'Connor, Dan Mucha, and Fitzgerald. The stalwarts of next year’s squad will include Austgen, Tony Svitko, Mark Matusik, Tom Skiba, and Greg Artim. 96 The valuable points needed for a team victory came from many sources: for instance, the back stroke of Jim Finneran and the diving of Bill Campbell- Co-captain Don Fitzgerald works to build stamina for an upcoming meet: the flawless start of Dan Mucha shaves important seconds off his performance. Wrestling The 1969-70 wrestling season culminated two years of rebuilding by Coach Jim Tobolski. The result was a powerful dynasty that obliterated any opposition found on the mat. Noll's grapplers muscled their way to an outstanding season record of 12-1. The lone loss came in a close, well fought match with Highland that was witnessed by more than one thousand fans. As the season drew to an end. two Warriors boasted perfect records: both co-captain Jack Krol and senior Jim Stok earned twelve victories while drawing once. Other standouts for Noll included Bill Payer (11-2), Chuck Cora (11-1-1). and Rich Halton (11-1-1). The sectionals ended with the Wrestling Warriors claiming fourth place. Although half of the regular squad will be lost through graduation, a corps of experienced wrestlers will return to carry on Noll's winning tradition. The coercion of Chuck Cora and the finesse of John Krol exhibit the various styles of wrestling that led to their successful season. 99 Basketball The 1969-70 Warrior effort consisted of hustle and determination. A stiff defense accounted for Noll’s twelve wins: its collapse resulted in six losses. A dismal 0-3 record in tourney action left the Warriors with a respectable 12-9 season lag. The team was paced by its co-captains Jack Sonnenberg and Ben Garner. Possessing deadly aim from the outside, Sonnenberg placed second among Region scorers. He also led the Warriors in assists. The aggressive play of Garner often intimidated taller opponents thus giving him control of the boards and tremendous inside scoring prowess. As John Domazet gained game experience, he became a welcome addition to Noll’s game plan both offensively and defensively. Tanky Steve Mosora alternated between the forward and center position. Working as pivot man. he was instrumental in working the ball under the basket. Mike Sember proved to be invaluable in bottling up the opponent’s offensive thrusts while his slick ballhandling was often the spearhead of a Warrior attack. Their main purpose, as summed up by Father Varga, the head of the Religion Department, is Information for the sake of Formation. Young Christians are given every opportunity to voice their opinions on modern moral values and attitudes. Discussions are supplemented by films concerning the challenges of Christian living, and. through periodic Masses with their religion classes, the students receive the guidance and grace needed to keep up their religious beliefs. In his book The Histories. Polybius states, “The study of History is in the truest sense, an education. Here at Bishop Noll, this education, history, forms the backbone of the varied Social Studies Department headed by Mr. Timothy Hyland. Courses in economics. sociology, and geography serve to round out the education offered in world cultures, United States History and Russian History. 106 Pausing for a moment to gather her thoughts. Meredith Simko does some serious thinking about a discussion topic: Jim Broton and Andrea Cora ponder the world of today. David Gordon views the world through a local newspaper, while other students are deeply engrossed in their work by taking notes. 107 WfPO«T «t I ' r • nspimr y Trial GfXS Of BmOOVXB Students learn a foreign language by listening to tapes. Noll's library offers a selection of literary works for extracurricular reading, but Bill Payer learns through class work. 108 English and Languages Bishop Noll's English Department is under the direction of Mr. James St. Amour. The department tries to enrich the knowledge of the students in their native language. These aims are accomplished through the daily English classes, independent study programs, and the presentation of the annual Drama Festival. In order to gain further insight into literature and various forms of expression, several senior classes made their own films. The Foreign Language Department, headed by Miss Karol Karaffa, gives Noll students the opportunity to learn a foreign language plus the literature, history and culture of a foreign people. Since conversation is emphasized this year in French and Spanish language courses, tapes, records, language labs and other audio-visual aids are of vital importance. Novels and newspapers provide interesting and poignant reading material for students. Listening and responding to foreign language tapes aid the students in grasping the essentials of a foreign language. 109 Business Education This year thirteen business courses are offered through the BNI Business Education Department. The Business Department fulfills the goals of business education by enabling its students to recognize their potentials and become aware of the opportunities offered by the business world. The business courses enable students to fill a suitable position as an employee. employer, or proprietor. Sr. Kosita and Mrs. Pihulic, the Chairmen of the Business Education Department, hope to train the student with sufficient thoroughness to fill stenographic and secretarial positions. Teaching the fundamentals of alphabetic, geographic, and subject filing through the medium of miniature filing sets and actual business letters and forms, plays an important role in the course Business Machines.” 110 Sherri Spejcwski relaxes while contemplating a difficult problem as Kathy Burg seriously devotes her time to developing skills at the keyboard. The saying • Practice makes perfect sets a goal for students to attain. Allan Paas meditates on an idea that will hopefully materialize as an artistic masterpiece, while Madeline Rangel and Andrew Prieboy learn that practice makes perfect. 112 Fine Arts In Noll’s Fine Arts Department students are given the opportunity to advance in the many fields of the fine arts. This year the department is under the direction of Father Jack VVinterlin. A theory class teaches students the fundamentals involved in music, while the choral classes offer students the means to develop their vocal talents. Musical services for many of Noll’s activities, including football and basketball games and musicals, are provided by BNI's bands. The stage craft and drama course deals with the different aspects of drama, while in art classes students’ artistic abilities are brought out and developed. This year, a course in general fine arts is being offered to the Freshmen. The teachers, working as a team, try to show the parallels between music, art. and drama. Roger Mola warms up on the clarinet, as ideas are beginning to formulate for students in art class. 113 114 Cindy Pulido and Gerard Baton combine efforts in preparing foods while Kay Kocielski checks her machine stitching. Home Arts Through BNI’s Home Arts Department. students are trained in domestic arts for the role of future homemakers. Under the direction of Sister Marjorie, head of the Home Economics Department, and Mrs. Sally Evanoff, students are instructed in various home art courses, including general homemaking, foods, family living, and clothing, which are taught under a four year program. Through the offered courses, junior and senior girls have the opportunity to advance themselves in clothing and the culinary arts. The emphasis in this department is on the development of domestic skills through individual ability and initiative. It is primarily concerned with strengthening and improving the lives of families and individuals. With the knowledge gained from these courses, formerly difficult situations will take on a much easier aspect. Susan Tcnkley and Jocllen Magliocca study a new recipe as Sister Marjorie and Betty Nagel insure a proper fit. Camille Kubacki and Terri Trojnar prepare fresh preserves. 115 .4 Physical Education Upon completion of physical education classes at Noll, underclassmen are capable of participating in and enjoying nearly any sport imaginable. Beginning with a program based on strict regimentation, the students grind through daily routines consisting of essential calisthenics and precision drills. The ultimate goal of these routines is the development of the body to a degree that can withstand the rigors of competitive sports. The students are then instructed with regard to the fundamental rules of the games. Following bruising scrimmages, outdoors as well as indoors, a student soon acquires a smooth coordination in sports such as soccer, basketball, softball, volleyball and slaughter ball. The swimming pool is the site of basic instructional classes for beginners. remedial lessons, or a turbulent water polo match between advanced swimmers. Coach George Wilson is responsible, as Athletic Director, for assembling Noll's physical education program. 116 A well rounded physical education curriculum includes both indoor and outdoor sports. Faces tense with concentration will soon reveal the victor and the vanquished. Grace in winning and acceptance of defeat are two important lessons to be learned in physical education class. 117 Mathematics Although courses remained the same, new projects were added to the curriculum of the Mathematics Department to lead students into new avenues of learning. Sponsored by the Sophomore. Junior and Senior Math Clubs last year, the Computer Course was made a credit-earning subject. The Annual Math Tournament, sponsored by the Sophomore Math Club, is one of the many projects students undertake. Sister Imelda, department head, and other mathematics teachers are offering the students many different phases of math, which range from business math to geometric algebra and computer courses. More than one-half of the students at Noll participate in at least one type of math course. Anne Daly has no difficulty in figuring out an algebraic equation while Greg Ludwa and Kathy Flynn study the structure of a cone; students compete for the correct answer. 118 Judy Gutierrez. Danctte Garza and Cindy Rogers examine two types of rulers: Theresa Klepkoff waits to be called upon. 119 120 Sophomore Denise Kozlowski examines different types of bacteria: Christopher Probst and Jack Lucas investigate a chemical problem: Mary Ann DoFazio, Monica Fernandez. Dennis Pasternak and Mark Simaga set up a filtration experiment. Science The Bishop Noll Science Department under the direction of Mrs. Mary Michielsen, aims at a more factual and comprehensive study of the sciences. Sophomores are able to apply the concept and theories of man and his environment through experimentation. Stimulating discussion periods are held to better the student's comprehension of these theories. Earth science was offered for the first time for sophomores interested in the geography of the earth. Chemistry students delve into the world of compounds and their relation to the study of matter. Students are able to investigate a compound's structure by experimenting directly with it. Physics students study the relationship between the forces and motions of an object. Films, along with Noll’s fine lab facilities, offer all classes a better understanding of the scientific world around us. Bob Wilson. Chester Zemniak. and Dave Sporinsky look into u bacteria culture while Dale Fredericks and Rich Halton attempt to measure the acceleration of gravity in physics class. 121 122 REVEREND GEORGE M.
