JV ' s Turn In Perfect Second Half The J.V. team was made made up of fourteen very determined and well coached players. The team played very well together. There were a few tall players, including 6 ' 3 Ron Spears who controlled the boards with the help of 6 4 Steve Murphy, 6 ' 2 Steve Van Ingen and 6 Mike Rumsey. The offense was led by Sophomores Marcos Munoz and high scoring Sophomore Mike Ulnek, who took all-tourney in the Serra Tournament, and also by Eddie Medel, who, in the beginning of the season, contributed very much. The rest of the players did not get much playing time, but when used, they did a fantastic job. The highest-scoring games of the season were beating Mater Dei at home and the game which was played against Servile away, in which the J.V. ' s beat them by 20 points, in this game ev- eryone got to play and this was a great way to end the season. 86 J V Basketball
