1. Sieve Trelease, John Stanich, Gerard Villereal, and Alex San Miguel look on as Coach Staengel introduces them. 2. Coach Slaengel announces the Cross Country awards and tells about his team. 3. Joe Pueliu and Kent Taylor proudly enjoy their Small Trophies. 4. Tom Baaden wins the award for Most Improved Player. 5. Champions take a break to compete in a different sport, Ealing. 6. Steve Abram presents Coach Norton with a gold watch from the 1979-80 Varsity Football team. 7. Tim McOsker is congratulated for winning the Scholar Ath- lete award. 8. All Angelus League and All CIF player Steve Abram is presented with the trophy for most valuable player. The 1979-1980 Sports Banquet was once again held to honor the players and coaches of the football and cross country teams. All players were intro- duced and given recognition by their coaches. Individual players were select- ed for special awards for their excellent performances throughout the season. The coaches were also presented with gifts by team members to show their deep appreciation and gratitude. This banquet is one last way in which BMHS can truly honor its athletes and thank them for all of the enjoyment that they have brought to our school. 40 Sports Banquet

Kevin Bateman, Anne Kustic, Mia Mellon, and Greg Gomez do the outra- geous new dance, The Alfonso! 4. The girls have the guys where they want them and Ruthy Desert isn ' t doing so bad herself. 5. Diane Wratschko switches dates whiles Eric Glassman looks for a likely squaw. 6. Karen Moschel and Jon Mostero are having a good time at the Sweetheart Dance. 7. As you can see. Father Kidney has more than one sweetheart.
