STARS FALL FROM HEAVEN Heaven could wait for Joe Pendleton, but Bishop Mont- gomery couldn ' t wait for the fall play. The comedy presen- tation of Heaven Can Wait proved to be a success by the crowds that filled Thomas Moore Hall. October first was the day the crew and cast began work- ing and preparing for opening night. They had two months before the curtain opened. Sets had to be built, actors had to learn lines, costumes had to be made! This was no time to relax! The leading roles were played by, David Sweet, Sherri Webb, Lawrence Sincich, Eugene Ireland, Kathleen Ryan, Christian Matthies, and Cindy Underwood. The only experienced actor was Eugene Ireland, who displayed his talents very well. However, Lawrence Sincich and Sherri Webb deserve recognition for their acting abili- ty. Kathy Ryan convinced the audience to despise her. Everyone liked the lovable, yet vulnerable chacter por- trayed by Cindy Underwood. All the credit however, does not go to the actors and actresses. The make-up and crop crew can not be forgotten. They spent many hours hard and never got to be in the spot light. Also Mrs. Fernandez deserves a round of applause for her time, effort, and understanding which went into the presentation in order to make it a success.
