EDITOR ,S OTES 120 E VER Y school publishes a yearbook which reflects the important events and occurrences that took place within that school year. The staffofMustang '73 lzad three specific objectives: fl! To produce a yearbook that would set a precedent for future Mustang publications. Q! To depict the resurgence ofthe 'McNamara Spirit 131 To arrange for the photographing and publication for next year 's production. OVER COMING many initial enigma 's, the staff thrusted an overwhelming amount of hours into the production. This publication is a polished chronicle of the school year activities. We hope that we have instilled a growing enthusiasm for the continuation ofa superior annual and that ensuing yearbooks will improve, as the Spirit ofMcNamara improves. We did achieve our goals. ONE man who deserves rnuch credit and praise is Mr, Gerald Carrig. He incurred no obligation to moderate this yearbookg yet, despite the lack of glamour involved in this tedious project, found time to do so. He struggled along with tlze staff on endless nights, sacrificing his time for the completion of the yearbook. With Mr, Carrigs assistance, we accomplished this feat. HOPEFULL Y, this is symbolic of a new cycle at McNamara,' one that excludes friction and incorporates cooperation. THE Mustang staff did more than its slzare to put the yearbook back on its feet. Now it will be the responsibility of the class of 1974 and those after it, to continue to build upon this firm foundation. YOU have everything to gain.
