Carrig' l o o F J BROSCHART ODE TO A YEA RBOOK Once upon a time in the land of hushabye, around about the wondrous days of yore, there was a yearbook, and this yearbook had a stafh bound up with chains and locked with locks, headed by an editor-not really a boy-but a man: and h they called him John. Now this editor was good, like all editoris should, around about the wondrous days ofyore. And in this land of hushabye I there was a god who was known as the Nebraska Red Headw, who was feared by all in the land. But god spoke tog ' 1 John-saying Hjohn, who I am well pleased with, you shall be made Leader ofthe people called YEARBOOK. And you shall have dominion over themv. But, then along came SAM, tall, strong SAM, cool talkin, SAM, smooth walkin,SAM, And the Red Haired Onevsaid to SAM 'iSam, you shall be made second only to John in the landu-and SAM left-all in those wondrous days ofyore. V' And the days dragged into months-because a camera was thrown into the yearbook machinery, and every one remained calm and the 'Nebraska Red Headii said Sue the ---- if-And they werenit. 1 Meanwhile, back at the YB ranch, Dave fthe slavej, Mike fthe hickj and Dave fthe ravej were waiting for night fall, so they could all get stoned againi' ergo: to work on Mustang 373. And John said Work, you rascalsi, but they would not-And after work was finished they rested-saying Weiue worked Hushabye work-Weive drunk Hushabye wine-Weive eaten Hushabye fmacj food. Itis been a good Hushaby dayn.
