One. two, three . . . ve vill make da date!!! This year marks the second publica- tion of the MUSTANG. Last year ' s staff worked diligently, made mistakes, gained experience, had fun and enjoyed a tre- mendous success. The same could be true of this year. Learning from the past and picking-up at the level of quality attained last June, the yearbook staff struck out to explore new horizons. Under the gen- eralship of Jim Jenkins and Mike Fowler the staff made significant gains in its journalistic aspirations. The hard work of George Carter and Sam Schiattareggia was outstanding but typical. Photo- graghy, vital to any yearbook, was ably handeled by Pete Holland and others. The value of the supervision of Mr. Rash, moderator, was priceless. We toiled, stumbled, learned, enjoyed ourselves and hoped for the best. This book of mem- ories is the testament to the faith that the staff held throughout the year. Headhunters, Creativity minus Vie flim-flam can. photogenic hams, special fickled band. 19

Eleven Rembrandts and one Davinci. ' A paint brush doesn ' t mean much a pallette of rainbows can only reveal color: an abstract painting expresses some mood - an artist can ' t explain what he has done, he has done it it is there - interpret - and let yourself explain. I could show you the temples of Greece, take a photo, and there ' s nothing there. draw a line - blindfolded - nothing there. ART CLUB Veni-Vidi-ViciV CHESS CLUB Chess provides a natural background for scholastic success. The Chess Club has not only endeavored for scholastic success but good sportsmanship as well. A Fall and Spring Tournament provided them with an excellent knowledge of the game and their classmates. Meeting weekly, the club is now well established in the McNamara Spirit. 21
