In the tradition of all good news- papers, the Stampede has exhibited a sensitive feel for what ' s happen- ing. By renaming the paper, the staff has definately given it a new outlook regarding school life. This outlook is one of facing the issue. With Brother Harry Pratt, C.S.C. moderator, acting merely as super- visor, the staff is freer than ever to project true student opinion. Now that articles are being sub- mitted by the student body at large, the purpose of the paper as a stu- dent mode of expression has taken on new meaning for student and faculty members alike.
