The first practice of the year brought dubious reactions from head Coach Bizal and assistant coach Chris Losson, when confronted with prospective freshman players. Foremost among their concerns was the relatively small stature of the recruits. It was a pleasant surprise when the team garnered three wins in seven decisions. Coach Bizal put it in a nutshell, when he commented This is by far the most spirited group of freshmen Pve seen in six years.
