My Fair Lady Eliza Doolittle, a cockney flower girl, emerges from her cocoon to become a social butter- fly, with the coaching of Professor Henry Higgins, a linguistic expert. Eliza's father, Alfred Doolittle fDon Diotisalvil claims that he is getting married in the morning to his long time mistress. Mean- while, Freddy fJeff Cameronl fascinated by Eliza's small talk at the Ascot Races, falls in love with her and becomes enchanted with the street where she lives. My Fair Lady was staged and directed by Mr. John J. Burfete, together with Mr. A. J. Casale, technical directorg Sister Rose Madeleine, instru- mental director, Sister Kathleen Cecilia, choral director, lVlrs. Betty Anders, choreographer, and Mr. John Zimmaro, assistant director. The pro- duction of this musical comedy based on George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion continued one of Ken- rick's oldest and finest traditions.
