HIGHLIGHTING THE EVENTS of the Senior weekend, the ban- quet provides a memorable evening for the graduating class of '69 in the enchanting atmosphere of Collegeville lnn. Senior Banquet CAUGHT BY THE ROVING EYE of the camera, Patty Jo Falcone, escort Damien Drewicz, and Harry Dean display mixed emo- tions as they enter the banquet hall. A GOOD MEAL always sets the pace for a successful evening, and the Senior Banquet proves this for Mr. McNamara, Jim Reynolds, Chris Nicklin, Father Boyle, and Father Fitzgerald. ON THE NIGHT of the Senior Banquet, class officers and their dates, Steve McDonald, Patty Lobb, Sue Traub, Ray Morris, and Linda DeMedio, sit at the head table relaxing between courses. 1

CONTEMPLATING THE MAGNIFICENT funeral he would have if he hanged himself, Jud lAndree Turnerl listens skeptically to Curley's lFrancis McMenaminl brilliant reasoning. On the evening of November 21, l968, a cowpuncher named Curly leaped through a gate on Kenrick's stage and began to sing . . . Oh, what a beautiful mornin'l Oh, what a beautiful day! l got a beautiful feelin' Everythin's goin' my way. He might well have been singing for Mr. John Burfete, producer, the Reverend Joseph Murray and Mr. A. J. Casale, moderators, Sister Rose Madeleine and Sister Mary William, music directors, Sister Dolores Kathryn and Sister Elizabeth Ann, stage directors, Mrs. Janet McLaughlin, Mrs. McDevitt, choreographer, and the cast and the stage crew, for they produced another great Kenrick performance in OKLAHOMA. ln a rough and growing territory out West, we find Curly lF. McMENAMlNl trying his best to court Laurey lS. TRAUBJ, who is also admired by a dirty ranch hand named Jud lA. TURNERD. In a fatal fight, Jud falls on his own knife, leaving 'the way clear for Curly to marry Laurey. They exit in the surrey as OKLAHOMA echoes through the hall. NIMBLE AND QUICK, Danny Manilla iumps to a lively western tune as his fellow cowboys ioin in the fun. THE REAL MOMENT OF TRIUMPH arrives, the Grand Finale ends, and, for all involved, months of dedication to a goal have borne fruit. 7 L l 4 rl S? ,QS tl 'S gf' 5,94 32:5 en ef rs se as '11 K we ,si fr
