In its first full year of publication, the Sbielil has busy reporters gathering information on religious, intellectual, athletic, and social events of the day. We are grateful to Sister M. One of the merriest performances in our school this year took place on Kenrick Day, September 27, 1957. The pro- gram presented by the Senior Class, under the direction of Sister M. David, l.H.M., welcomed the Freshman Class. our school. Peals of laughter filled the auditorium from the be- ginning of the entertainment to the final curtain. The band played a few selections and our honorable Judge Duke QC. DeDominicj selected a king and a queen for the day from the Freshman Class. Royalty reigned supreme, while TV Station BKHS presented Kenrivk Bamfsfaml and its special guests. A typical Kenrick-bus-trip-to-school was portrayed, and the freshmen really enjoyed the Ifrvsbman Big Payoff. As a climax to a very successful show, we sang our Alma Mater. A get-acquainted dance was held after school to make the freshmen feel at home. '1 'Q r I f A l f 0 z The Freshman Big Payof was a really big show, but to D. Gratz it was more like the arrival of the day of doom. C. Galullo intro- duces him to that eminent, sophisticated M,C., T. Chendorain. Our high-stepping gridiron players took a mo- ment out from their daily practice to add some graceful steps to the Kenrick Day festivities. J. Palumbo looks a bit startled at the bus fare C.
