LASS S We study with zz purpase . . Any curious visitor to Kenrick delays on his excursion to explore the classes which engage our time. In each classroom, alert students keenly focus attention on the work before them. Intent learners grasp funda- mentals in science and the languages, history and the arts, mathematics and commercial pursuits, all of which prepare them for the days ahead. Of greater importance, on each intellect and will is engraved the forti- fying image of Christ. This inner strength is mirrored in every phase of Catholic training. As the likeness of the Maker is imprinted upon the student, so must he silhouette Christ in every aspect of his life. This goal is attained only by perseverance, and tried whenever faith in God and His eternal law is challenged. Then, as now, the Class of '58 shall call upon those principles impressed on their minds and hearts as students of Bishop Kenrick High School. Assuredly, we study with a purpose.
