Attending the ceremonies per formed by Archbishop Hurley are many of the students of Bishop Kenny High School and their parents. THE FIRST ORDINATION IN THE NEW ASSUMPTION CHURCH Seniors of Bishop Kenny who are privileged to be Altar Boys on the solemn occasion of the first ordination in our recently dedicated Church are: Un the Sanctuaryj Pat Mulrennan, Leland Mickler, Paul Sallas, Jerry Snelgrove, Lester Mickler, Donald Estridge, Conrad Gunti, Charles Stichweh, Bill Christian. Assisting Archbishop Hurley in the ordination of Father Lawlor are our Pastors--His Excellency, Bishop McDonough, Msgr. Nolan, Rev. J. B. Cloonan, Father J. P. Burns, Father Turnier, Father Barry and other priests of the diocese Participating in this memorable ceremony were the entire student body of Kenny High with their teachers and our President, Reverend Terence Farrelly. Our boys choir under the direction of Sister M. Damian will long remember th at they had the honor of singing the Mass for the first ordination in Our Lady's Church of the Assumption.
