FOIlEWOIlIl Dear Crusaders of the Graduating Class of 1955: You have reached the long-awaited day of GRADUAfI'.lON. We congratulate you on the completion of your high school education, and we hope and pray that you will successfully complete life's tasks in the school of worldly experiences. With the help of God you will make Wise use of the opportunities that lie ahead for your material and spiritual progress. The Catholic Church looks to you, dear graduates, to accept with the spirit and courage of the early Crusaders, the challenge to Christianity and Democracy which is the supreme issue in the confused world of today. You are taking with you a firm belief in God, a strong trust in God, and a deep love for God. With these spiritual weapons you will be equipped against the attacks of the enemy - atheistic materialism and indifference. May you always maintain the high ideals which have been fostered in your minds and hearts all through your school life.
