Although recently organized the Club members have demonstrated their ability to bring the dead language into real life. With plays and skits the Latin Class has popularized the life and times of Caesar and Cicero. Sally Dorsey,s dramatic creation in pure classical Latin Cicero Walks with Wash- ington at Midnight, and Vickie Ossi's original interpretation of Cicero Walks with Lincoln at Midnight, matches the heroes of our country with the greatness that was Rome. In Kenneth Mendel's Biography of Washington, the salute to the Flag, and the selections from patriotic songs-all in Latin-the students are bringing the classical gas: with its appreciation for culture to the modern classes in Bishop Kenny High ool.
