Both the varsity and the junior var sity had a win- ning season this year. The varsity ended the season with 12 Wins and 5 losses. They placed first in their league. The junior varsity finished with 14 wins and 5 losses, and they placed second in their invitational league tournament. Over- all they did a fantastic job. This year the Varsity team was under the direc- tion of Coach Dick Davis. With four returning se- niors, the Varsity showed a great deal of talent and determination. Coach Scott Duschen was impressed with the strength and teamwork of the Junior Varsity team. Coach Carl Capra direct- ed the freshman team to a very successful season, with a finish of a lO-2. rec- ord, with over 65 points scored in many games. The Parents Club Presi- dent, Mrs. Inez Gilmore, has presented many excit- ing activities throughout the year with the help of many hard-working par- ents. The club presented a successful Wine and Cheese tasting party along with an auction. They also sponsored a play at the Jewish Community Center. The Hogan Parents Club is an organization which, with the help of the faculty, pre sents specific ideas and au- thority for the school. The Parents Club also helps fi- nance various activities and needs here at Hogan.
