Erwin organized senior math students to help underclass- men, when the teacher wasn't avail- able. Eight fre shnien tutored other students having difficulties in par- ticular problends. The tutors brief- ed Sister on the standing of their pupils at regular intervals. Advanced math students followed a new procedure in testing this year Students chose the level of test they wished to take--A, B, or C. To get a C on the C level, the stu- dent had to make 900703 to receive a B on the B level, the student also had to make 90570. With the help of Title ll, the de- partment had programed books to help Algebra I and II students. Those students, having fallen be- hind in class work, could make up work by using this independent study program. These students struggle to unfold the mysteries of Algebra I on the board
