Published by BISHGP HCDGAN HIGH SCHOGL Kansas City, Missouri Volume X 11557912 Foreword Bishop Hogan High School was organized in Sep- tember ot 1940. DESIRING TO GIVE HONOR where it is most merited, I have re- served for myself the preparation of the staff page. Plans for it were not formed until after the completion of all the other pages. It would be difficult to find a more efficient editor-in-chief than Dorothy Goffinet. Beverly Soetaert has done an excellent iob as business manager, and Ann Powers brought in more patron contri- butions than-any other staff member. Joan Hoey deserves an ac- colade for her business-like selling of individual pictures to under- classmen. Sandra Tabuas has been outstanding for initiative and steady, hard work. Words can hardly express our gratitude for the cheerful response of our student photographers, Welsh, Martin, IO2 and Gosselin. Our thanks are due to the Bruce Publishing Company for permission to use for our theme, material taken from pages 72. FF., of IIA Catholic Philosophy of Education , by Redden and Ryan. Our hearty thanks are also due to Mr. Merrill Postma for his tireless help and to the Rolland School Studio for prompt and ex- cellent service.
