WAGNER, COACH E JAnAzzwsKu. HOGAN 6 - PEM DAY l2 Consistant gains by a large Pem Day team resulted in a touchdown, Hogan tied up the game with a series of long passes and line bucks. Scoring late in the second half, Pem Day gained the lead. HOGAN 0 - ROCKHURST 6 Hogan started the game with a quick threat, but because of penalities they were held. A Rockhurst touchdown in the third quarter provided winning points. A last quarter threat by Hogan failed. HOGAN 0 - LILLIS 19 A fired up Lillis team took advantage of a muddy field and timely breaks to defeat the fighting Rams. HOGAN 0 - REDEMTORIST 0 The Rockets fought the Rams to a stand- still although neither team showed a great offensive or defensive threat. Hogan ripped off considerable yardage. The game was very rough leaving two Hogan players ser- iously injured. HOGAN 6 - IMMACULATA 19 Out-fought by the Immaculata Raiders GO0d inte and hard hit by previous injuries, the Rams were behind at the half 13-O, but in the second half they scored one touchdown. ' . Though penalized considerably, Hogan just couldn't be stopped. Coach .Taraczewski used all uniformed play- ers. HOGAN 8 - ST. AGNES 6 A safety provided the margin of victory for the Rams in defeating the St. Agnes Stags 8-6 in the second game of the year. The game was marred by an injury to .Tack Marl- borough which incapacitated him for the season. HOGAN 19 - DE LA SALLE 2 Hogan capitalized on breaks early in the game, scoring two touchdowns which broke the spirit of De La Salle. Adding a third touchdown in the last quarter proved Hogan superior to a hard De La Salle team. HOGAN 12 - GLENNON 14 A spirited Glennon team took an early lead. At the half the score was 6-6.
