To Sister Rose Catharine Bishop Hogan High School has had one prin' cipal-Sister Rose Catharine. Through our year' hook we wish to pay her due tribute. In the six years of the school's existence, stu' dents and teachers have been inspired by her persistent zeal and industry to progress constantly. Undaunted hy problems and discouragement, she hegan, with seventy students and three teachers, in a tem orar huildin ' on the Saint ohn's Semi' 3' 2 nary grounds, Septemher, 1940. The new school, located on a beautiful eminence on Meyer Boulevard, is a monument to her. Through Sister Rose Catharines efforts it has heen well furnishedg its departments are well organizedg its curriculum is very richg and its en' rollment now exceeds four hundred fifty students.
