Sister john Mary, O.P., checks stu- dent compositions. Sister has a freshman religion I and English I and II. Father James M. Joyce, Sioux Falls, is observing what makes Heelan Stick. He teaches senior religion and has a junior homeroom. Father is also junior moderator. Sister Mary Lurana, B.V.M., shows her English class a helpful text in the appreciation of litera- ture. Sister has a freshman homeroom and teaches Latin I and English I and II. Sister Mary Magdalita, B,V.M., counsels Lael Larkin concerning the merits of a class report. Sister teaches religion I and English I and II and has charge of a freshman homeroom. She is also assistant freshman moderator. Mr. Don Fleming, head coach, was ready to make a basket when he was caught by the photographer. Mr. Fleming teaches boys' physical education. Sister Mary Francis Clare, B.V.M., is selecting a book for use during her leisure time. Sister has a sophomore homeroom and teaches religion I and II and English II. Mr. Leonard Heath, band director, takes a break from his busy sched- ule to pose for the photographer. Mr. Heath directs the band, teaches general music and instrumental music. Sister Mary jeanora, B.V M., dis- plays new materials to be used in the teaching of Latin. Sister is assistant junior moderator, moder- ator of assemblies, has a junior homeroom, and teaches Latin I and II and general science.
